Set amidst apple orchards and nearby pine forests, close to the picturesque village of ParÇay les Pins in the beautiful Loire Valley. La Poulerie as the name implies was at one time a chicken farm.
After converting the mud floor barn into our home, the owners (who live on site) were able to move over to France in October 1993, shortly after this they opened our B & B business.
In 1995 two cottages, Le Poussin (2 people) and Le Poulet (4 people) were open and ready to receive guests. These cottages are just across the main courtyard from the house, they were the original farmers cottages at La Poulerie.
The property is set on an acre of land with an attractive courtyard and garden.
The third cottage Le Friche (6 people) meaning 'fallow land' was renovated and opened for the 2003 season. This superb cottage is located just 50 metres from La Poulerie and its pool area.
All the cottages have use of the 11m x 5m swimming pool and surrounding sunbathing area with sun beds, solar shower and covered patio with tables and chairs.
